I see no mention of Magnavox radios. We bought a console Magnavox around 1947, AM-FM phono with "real Hi Fidelity" amp and speakers. Two woofers and horn tweeter I think. Sounded great. This was before stereo on Phono or FM. Many the hour I used to lie on the carpet with my head practically inside the radio, mostly listening to Gilbert and Sullivan. sigh.

Do you happen to still own this radio? Sounds like you have a lot of good memories associated with it. If you don't have it anymore, you might watch eBay and see if you can find one. Imagine how you would feel restoring one and seeing it in your living room and listening to it every night.

It would be great except there is no room for it. Good idea, though. I'll watch eBay and ...who knows.
