Hello,
I'm hoping that someone out there can help me with some Information about a radio I got years ago from my grandfather. It Is a Stewart Warner model 01-6G1

Can anyone tell me what year it was manufactured?

It has police aircraft and amateur aircraft bands so I'm pretty sure it isn't much older than the 40's
It also has foreign and regular domestic bands.

Thanks for any help you could provide me.
Bill B.

That's cool! I love my old Stewart Warner radio, it's one of my favorites.

Looking in my Rider collection, I find a model 01-6K1 in Volume 14. It is a multi-band radio using 6 tubes. Perhaps yours is similar. Do you have a photo you can post? What tubes are used?
