I just recently acquired a Canadian made Model R452 Stewart Warner radio in working condition. Can anyone provide any information or resources that would help me identify year of manufacture and/or other pertinent details?
Thanks in advance.

Can you post a photo? I don't know if I can help, because my set of Rider schematics only shows models R-35xx and R38xx. But if you'll tell me what tubes are used inside, I'll look and see if there are any chassis that contain them. I've found that several models used the same chassis back in those days.

I have a 1939 Stewart Warner radio model 13-5U.

I'd love to see your radio. I think the cabinetry and styles of these old radios are wonderful.

Thanks Wayne. I've sent you an email with a pic of a model R519 which is very similar to mine. I've not had a chance to take any photos of mine, as I just purchased it yesterday. I have also included some other pertinent data in the email with which you may be familiar. Your radio is really cool!

It's cool that your radio has shortwave bands! I'll look for a schematic with the same tube set, and hopefully, you can post a picture here so that others might identify it and maybe have information for you too.
