Where exactly should I put the subwoofer in my surround sound? I wanted to put it where the tv was but I didn't know if it would clash in anyway.

Aha so it is that complex huh. I wonder why. Things are more demnsional than they seem. I would have never thought that putting surround sound in your room would be so complex.

It needn't be really, for a sub woofer. Stick it out of the way, preferably in a corner and it should work just fine. Mine does.

I wouldn't put it near your other speakers. I think it is made to enhance your listening pleasure so I would say stick out somewhere where it's not near all your other hardware.

It's made to enhance your other speakers, you don't want to throw them right under your main speakers. That to me is pointless. You are looking for contrast.

Subwoofers are just that, they are there for the bang and the bang only. When I think about a subwoofer, I think about bass.

I think about enhancement, thats how I see it. That was the reason why I got my subwoofer in the first place. I got them to enhance my speakers.
