He has done a lot of work, hasn't he? Lots of work on FFT and digital processing too, good for measurement and sound processing stuff.

I quickly skimmed over it and it seems to talk in a way easy to understand and cover quite a few points of room acoustics.

Good link, thanks. It does appear to offer some good advice. I like the mention of air gaps between an insulating cushion or membrane and the room boundary, wall, roof, whatever. I've seen that described by Augsperger too. Good advice. Hang those curtains out a foot and a half from the wall!
