When we all had miniature point source speaker systems that fit well in our daughter's doll house, there were kinds of music we rarely listened to. It often sounded like we were 300 yards away.

What do ya'll listen to now that you didn't before you had a line array?

I listen to more classic rock now, like Pink Floyd. Stuff recorded with a bunch of range and separation.

Not just because of the lines, but my ears can't handle constant loud music anymore, so there needs to be more quiet parts in the songs I listen to now.

But I sold them.
I have Polk SRS 2's and B&W Matrix 801's right now, and some Klipsch CF 3's.
Thinking about building an array though.
Roger Russell has some prototypes for sale, but they are 7.5 feet tall and my ceiling is only 7.5 feet !!!
He uses a single driver with EQ.
Interesting ......

A lot of jazz trio's and quartet's with such a presence I've never experienced before , also percussions are unbeatble with arrays dinamics , just close my eyes and I'm there .
