I bought these a while back in a large Altec box (about 4 cu feet, sealed).
They are 3 way, coaxial. I don't think the caps on them have been changed. I probably ought to do that soon.
The guy I bought them from swore they had some of the best tone.
I finally got them up & running. they do have excellent tone.

Make listening to musc at work very very enjoyable.
Let's put it this way: instruments like cellos & pianos sound very real.
Voices sound great.
Overall, highly recommended to "tone" afficianados.

Dunno...something like auricaps or solen...somethingpolyprops. I haven't openedthe driver yet, so i don't even know what the crossover looks like. I'm just paranoid I might hurt the tweeter. I think the midrange is acoustically crossed. ANyone have any odeas how these vintage triaxials are put together?
