For those of you wanting to experiment with the multi-sub concept, I found an inexpensive crossover that you can use. Get one or two of these and use them with existing amps. If you don't have amps, this won't help, but if you do then these little crossovers will let you press them into service easily.
Hey Wayne! Check out the Reckhorn B-1 crossover at www.reckhorn.com. 12 db/octave switchable low-pass filter, subsonic frequency cut and adjustable bass boost, all for less than 100 bucks. The pots have detents for (relatively) repeatable settings. The front panel controls make for easy fine tuning. Works great in my system. Recommended!

Looks great! Thanks for the link. I think I'll buy one and check it out. Do you happen to know what's inside with respect to components and circuit topology?
I've just ordered one and plan to evaluate it just like I did the Pyle sub crossover. I understand it's only available in a 220v version, so I'll probably swap transformers and I'll bet I won't stop there. I'll no doubt give it the same treatment as the Pyle crossover, doing chip and cap upgrades.
