My hemi gets me 25mpg @60 on the highway, 23mpg @75 on the highway
I get 20 most of the time for an average. The new motors have good design features. not bad for 340HP. straight city driving is much worse!

Come down to the marina and I'll show you some real gas burners. I get .8NMPG @ 16 knots!

Yes; my Roadmaster got 23 on the hgwy but 10 around town. Boats? Ever see a grown man cry? I saw a guy fill up his big old Bertram at the marina and I can't be sure but it looked like he dropped over a grand. I know it was high because we could hear the wife yelling from inside the cabin, " We Are Getting Rid Of This Piece Of Shit!!"

LOL, a big ole Bertram, "aint no piece of shit" as they say. but yeah it does bring a tear to your eye. I have small tanks so I usually take on between 200-250 gallons.

Most respectable boaters spend more in Scotch?

Oh yeah thats the point; the Bertram was gorgeous; flying bridge and all, it was the wifes frustration with the bill I guess; but I would advise the guy to keep it since it sounds like divorce is in the air and it's easier to hide the boat then hide the cash payment for it.
