it's meant to go from 400Hz down. I'm a bit worried though after reading Sound Practices summer 92 and specifically Greg Boynton's remark that folded horns suck!

The driver will be a P.Audio BM12W.

I think 400Hz is probably an octave too high because folding generally attenuates higher frequencies. Standing waves develop inside that tend to make lower midrange output ragged. So crossover lower than 400Hz but otherwise it's probably a pretty good layout. Have you modeled it in Hornresp?

Really appreciate your sharing of knowledge. The knowledge of hornloudspeakers is a lot scarcer than say about tubes.
