Hey, I built one of those scoop things a while ago. Originally, it
had an Alpha 10" in it, but its got a JBL M151 now. No idea how great it is, but it was fun to build and sounds OK to me. Here's
a couple of pictures:

I finally glued the side on many months after it was made.
