If I take 1 and horn load it I get 105db to 106db.But if I take 2 on large open baffle I would get about the same spl.I also think a K-Horn is about the same.I've never heard a k-horn I have heard sealed and vented and bandpass.Or should I try all 3 and make my own mind up.K-horns sound intresting but no one sames to know how they work. Some I've seen like magnetars (rosie)But I think he just placed a exponetial curve cutout in front of a woofer box and they work as k-horns?I need a quality midbass solution.100hz 600hz or higher. thanks Tim

You intend to use these for MI? Realize that the E-130 is not intended for reproduction. Bill Fitzmaurice says it will work well in his DR-15.

When people speak of a "K-horn" they almost invariably mean a Klipshorn. Rosie is not a K-horn, it's a Karlson Coupler (Google Karlson and you'll find a web site devoted to it; Freddy Ireson is a contributor there).

From my reading (no direct experience) I suspect the Karlson has a resonance in the 50-70 Hz range that gives the impression of hard-hitting bass response. I'm not sure you'd benefit above 100 Hz.
