I have a pair of JVC speakers that have a 10" sub with mid and tweeter, the sub hits too hard for the box though and it vibrates the back of the box. I have realized if I hold the back of the box the vibrations will stop so I am wondering what I could do to permanently stop the vibrations by reinforcing the back of the enclosure.

Add braces. If you can't cross-brace, maybe add a window style brace like shown at the link below:
