I recently was unfortunate enough to have my apartment struck by lightning and in the process my Monsoon MM:1000 speakers were ruined. I'm looking for a some new speakers up to 230 dollars with good overall sound range like my Monsoons had. I am currently running the bose companion 3, but thus far i am un-impressed. Looking for some input please!

The Spherex Xbox 5.1 system is supposed to be very good. Unfortunately no longer made, but you may be able to get some off ebay. I like my monsoons MM-1000s!

I have a pair and they sound great until a few days a go that the power supply went. I think it's the psu because there's no power light on the sub any more. I was wonder if your psu is still working??? I'm interested in replacing mine.
