I'm just a newbie here so be patient with me if I ask a "stupid" question. I just recently ran across the planar concept. Are planars within the reach of the average DIYer? If so, where can I find information on design and drivers, and do any of you have any experience with them?

Look in the Planar forum. There was a link or two I saw there in some posts some time ago about DIY planar speakers.
