Yeah, they're really white. Glossy white. Grill frame clean linen white.
They sound incredible!
The bass from the Alpha's is just a little boomy on my suspended floors and the non-standard Audax tweeter a tad bright. BUT, image, crystal clear highs and lush vocals, oh yeah! I've dragged out every female vocal I have and all the violins and cellos in the house.
Thanks to Wayne who provides inspiration and the generous spirit that encourages variations on his themes. And to Bill Martinelli who recommended the tweeter and the simple crossover that works so well.
