I'd really like to see someone offer high-quality audio downloads. We're now at a point that this can be delivered to audio systems and get rid of the disc. Apple could do at least more with its lossless codec which seems to have the ability to support DRM, but whatever comes out, it would be ideal if it could rival SACD quality. I know people say there isn't a market for it, but perhaps someone could try!

You're absolutely right. Magnetic disk storage has surpassed optical for the moment, so you can pack on more high quality (more as in number of songs and also higher in quality) on a computer's disk drive than you can on its CD player. Makes a lot of sense.
