I am in germany and I have a US version (110V) SL1200. I was changing my setup around and accidently plugged it into a 220V socket. It blew after about 2 seconds. I opened it up and the model I have has no fuses that I can find, at least not the little glass vial kind. I assume I burnt the power transformer. I just ordered a new one. I am going to replace it and see what happens. Does anyone out there have any experience with this situation or any advice they can offer before attempt this. Thanks

That's not a good way to start out the New Years!
Sadly, 110v devices connected to 220v mains usually don't have many surviving electrical components inside. The transformer will couple twice the voltage on its secondaries until it opens up. Even then, when the transformer fails it is usually the primary side that opens first leaving the magnetic field to collapse into the secondaries. The overvoltage and terminating spike is usually enough to take out everything downstream.
