Hi

I just got a used 1200MK2 euro version. Is it safe for long-term use by running the voltage switch under the platter in the 110V and using a physical prong adapter to plug it into power (euro round --> square plug)? Or do I need to get a step-up transformer and run it in 220V?

How do I know if the transformer in the unit itself is functional or not?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP, I NEED HELP!!!
