I just got a new turntable, a Crosley and it wont start turning, when I turn the tone arm to the right, nothing happens, and it does so far, we are afraid to break it. Customer support has been no help, and I was wandering if ayone had some ideas?

Take it back. Have them replace it with one that works. If it's brand new, you shouldn't have to fix it. That's what warranties are for.
