I have just bought a pair of direct drive Gemini tt02s off ebay with a behringer DJX700 and ive been having a problem with one of the turntables. It plays the song faster than it should do but when I put my hand on the vinyl to slow it down until it sounds right so I take my hand off and it carries on playing the vinyl right. Then when I change the vinyl and drop it in the same thing happens again. WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!? its like i have to correct the turntable and then it stops working when I change the vinyl!

It has a pitch control. Have you tried adjusting it?

yes I have. The pitch changes even if I leave the pitch alone. I have used the cut out time circles in the manual on them and it definately speeds up alot if you push the vinyl forward and it won't go back to the original unless you slow it down with your hand. It is a very weird problem and I really want to get to the bottom of it

Sounds like the servo system is shot. I think you'll need to take it into the shop.
