How many purists do we have here who consider streaming AM radio stations, "cheating"?

FM bands now so much, but my memories of AM radio always include varying degrees of static. Something you don't hear on apps so, in my opinion, you don't get the full effect.

When I lived in Tulsa, I could easily receive stations 500 miles away at night.  Oklahoma is flat and radio reception is excellent.

But now I live in Bella Vista, in the Ozarks.  I literally have a transmitter in my house to broadcast material to my old tube radios, which I love.  There are no AM stations in my area, and the terrain makes any DX reception impossible.

So streaming radios are a must in my area for anyone that doesn't want to setup their own little transmitter.
