Been reading through a bunch of posts and a couple of your papers

Could you send me the 4 pi plans please

Does that include the crossover information? Values, layout, recommended models

I found some JBL of the 2226 HPL 8 ohm local that I'm waiting to pull the trigger on prior to going through the plans.

B&C DE250 comes in Polyimide or Titanium. Is the Polyimide the correct driver for this application?

And - yes - the polyimide version of the DE250 is the one you want.

By the way, look into the concept of flanking subs too. If you don't use a pair right away, maybe save that for an upgrade project later.
