As a team he and Hal David created some of the most renowned pop music ever. I've always been partial to their song Message To Michael, whom Dionne Warwick made her own.

Played it today in homage.

I downloaded "This Guy's in Love with You" when hearing news of his passing. It doesn't have very many lyrics, but I love the wistful feeling it gives.

For a long time, I assumed "Always Something There to Remind Me" was written by Naked Eyes.
