Greetings-

I just bought a Philips 270 turntable. The former owner demonstrated that it worked for me, so I don't think it is broken. However, b eing an idiot, I do not remember how he turned it on/got it to work. And after an hour or more of searching I cannot seem to find any switch etc. Apologies for the stupidity, but do any of y'all have any fixit ideas?

Maybe the motor starts when you lift the arm and move it towards the platter. Did you try that?
