I am thinking about bidding on a Technics SL-B2 on ebay. Does anyone know anything about this model? Is it a low end unit? Any problems to watch out for, etc.?

Thanks,
Josh

It's OK, but I would prefer one of the direct drive models from Technics. In my opinion, that's what they did best. Look for a Technics SL-1200, for example. If you want a starter belt drive table, I'd look at something like an entry level Rega or VPI instead.
