SiriusXM is offering a deal right now where you can use their service for three months for free. They do this several times a year. It doesn't require a credit card to get started. It's a pretty popular deal.

I think it's for new subscribers only, but I've heard of other folks using it again. Lots of used cars come with the satellite radio already installed, so I guess that makes sense.

Hi, once they know you they will pester you for life. They still want me to activate a radio that I had back in 2004. Mad

Good Listening

I just got a deal for an annual subscription. They were charging me $27 a month - I missed the charges for the first few months. I will tell my daughter about this freebie. She wanted to try it.

Wow! Thanks! I have been looking for a deal. I wonder if they will know that I was a customer prior. I believe it goes by your vehicle information but I'm not sure. The prices are so high if you don't get a deal.

Hi, I believe the keep records on the device used to receive the music. They still list me as having 4 devices and constantly try to get me to reactivate one or another. If I go to the Sirius site they still show them all.

Good Listening

You may not have 4 devices, but they sure do. lol

It's good that Xirius does this though. I had the opportunity to listen to Xirius for a few weeks for free, and I like them. Huge selection of stations.

I hope they still have that deal next month. I miss my Howard Stern but I've got too many pots on the stove to add a side dish too. Too hectic right now.

Can you cancel after 3 months, or do they lock you in somehow? That's my biggest fear, getting snagged in that way.

I just don't think I would use it so much, so as to warrant a subscription

Hi, Of course you can cancel...but they will pester you forever. I stopped using them years ago and they still email and snailmail me all the time. Shocked

Good Listening
