With Halloween being right around the corner we tend to binge watch old scary movies. Has anyone seen the newest Halloween? Thoughts?

We watched it and I'm sad to say that I thought it was lame!

Jamie Lee Curtis is a phenomenal actress, but even she couldn't save the film. I really wish they'd put the franchise to bed and make something new.

Very disappointed. Hopefully, enough people will stop watching these re-hashes to the point where Hollywood will stop making them.

No one is really impressed with the lack of imagination coming out of Hollywood.

I still prefer watching thrillers rather than horror movies. The scare from the former gives a more realistic feeling knowing that humans are after you. Scary movies appear forced, and the genre lacks innovation in general.

Yeah, horror=gore. Not really my cup of tea. Blair Witch was good because it was more psychological which, in this day and age, is a breath of fresh air.

I thought it stunk! I love scary movies but this one really stunk it up.
I agree that the Blair Witch movie was great. I like scary but I also love suspense too.

It was just so predictable. They are really beating this theme into the ground. The franchise should've ended on a high note with their last hit.

I agree that Curtis is usually a wonderful actress. I agree that there should be no more Halloween movies. I bet they keep making them though. People keep going and they are making millions.
