i just want a simple turntabe/record player so i can play my dads old vinyl, and pick up some random odds and sods, this may just be a fad so can i get away with spending under £100? were belt driven decks invented by the devil and used only by his puppets? do i really need all those strobey dj add on bits? your knowledge would be greatfully recieved

cheers all big jon

I suggest buying a Technics table. You can find good used ones cheap and they work very well.

Yes, I think you would probably be very happy with an SL-1200.
