Guys, I have one good working 15" woofer in my pair of Fisher ST-845 speakers. The other speaker's woofer has voice coil issues and my worry is to repair with a kit will change the sound/tone of that woofer. I have been looking for a while now but cannot get the same model woofer anywhere. I can get one woofer from similar models but don't want any mis-matching issues.
I can get a good pair of STV-875 or ST-830 15" Woofers to replace both of my woofers but no matter how much I have researched online I could not get the specs of either woofers in both of these speaker models.
What is troubling me is the ST-830 and STV-845's Speakers ratings are showing 10-100 watts "Input Power" while the ST-845's Input power is showing 15-150Watts so is there any way to know if either the ST-830 or STV-875 woofers can work in my ST-845 and give me the same output please?

I wouldn't worry about matching the power handing specification. Just keep 'em under 100 watts and you'll be fine with either one, if the specs are to be believed.
The things at issue are everything else. You need matching sensitivity and matching response. The only way to know for sure what they do is to measure them and compare.
I have been wondering recoding the bad woofer but my issue with a recone kit is since it will be using totally new and different materials than the original made over 30 years ago that it will not give the same sound as the original?
