I'm holding onto a Numark DM1001X mixer and a Numark TT1520 table for a friend of mine. I'm having a problem with the mixer cutting out after every track; and, if the track if long enough, after only a couple minutes of playing.

There's no 'pop' or other noises. All the lights on the mixer simply go out and I'm left with a spinning record and no sound. I tried to play a 9-minute track from the beginning to figure out if there were a particular time after which it would cut off, but there was no consistency. One minute, four minutes--there was no pattern. The only time it would definitely cut out was as a track ended.

Anyone have any idea what's going on?
