Got a new amp, you can select various phono setting. If I have a Phono cartridge which has an output of 5mv and a imput load of 47K, would setting my amp to a sensitivity of 6mv and a 50K ohm imput load (which are the closest possible setting) be close enough? The total possible settings are .5/3/6 mv and 30/50 and 100k loads. How much are cartridge specs changed my the turntable? I'm getting a Sensui Au-20000, and looking to use a Technics 1200 MKII with it. Any ideas for cartridges?

That load setting will be just fine.
