I feel like everywhere I look I see mention of this Netflix movie. The concept sounds interesting, but horror movies usually aren't my style. Anyone seen this one?

I've seen the movie and read the book and they're rather different. I thought the book was better because it's more detailed, but the movie has more action and deaths. A lot of the hype around Bird Box was created and driven by Netflix itself. Otherwise, I'm not sure it would be that popular. Sandra Bolluck did an amazing job in the lead role (naturally). Trevante Rhodes and John Malkovich performed well too. It's a decent movie and worth watching if you have a Netflix subscription, but it isn't the best movie ever as memes and hype would have you believe.

It has been a while since I watched a horror movie but the mention of Sandra Bullock in a movie has just made me really interested in Bird Box. I will head to Netflix and watch it and also read the book.

You know I'd heard of this movie without realizing that Sandra Bullock actually starred in it. It has been a huge success commercially and I will definitely watch it soon.

I watched this one a couple of weeks ago. I quite liked it. It has a very good story. It's nice to see original movies come out. I'm getting quite sick of seeing the 50th incarnation of the same movie being released every couple of years.

All this time, I had this notion that Bird Box was a horror movie but it turns out that it is a psychological thriller. Is it the sort of movie that is based on the future? If that is the case, it could remain relevant for quite some time.

I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. I read the book after I saw the movie, and I enjoyed the book much more than the movie. I thought Sandra Bullock's performance was quite good, but that was about all I got out of the movie.
