It is expected that this technology will have been rolled out by the year 2020. Does it seem rushed or is it time for this to happen? What would be the added benefits to the technology we are currently enjoying?

What'll it cost? Probably you will be compelled to make monthly payments for the privilege. Like just about everything these days. I don't know how some people can keep track of all the monthly extractions they have from their accounts.
Considering that the 4G technology was launched almost ten years ago, I think it is time for a change. I would suppose that there will be faster transfer speeds, among other benefits, despite the likely rise in cost.
