Most people concentrate more on the functionality of a system and more often than not, fail to pay attention to the aesthetic aspects. I was reading an article about how you can use a visual presence processor to add depth information to the viewed image, using luminous modulation. Has anyone explored in this way before?

I had to look this one up. Is it this Darbee Vision product? Just off hand this looks similar to how you can enhance a photo with contrast and such. Which to me doesn't look natural. With the number of pixel's seemingly going up in current tv's is this actually of merit? I dunno. But it seems kind of gimmicky to me.
