How big is a good space to convert a living room into a home theater? I'm contemplating on creating my living room into a home theater so I'm considering that floor plan for my future house.
I don't have a house of my own, yet, so I cannot say for sure. If I were to build my own house, one-third of the house will be the living room so that there will be enough space for my home theater.
I don't remember what it is right now, but there is a calculation you can do dealing with screen size and how far away you should be from that screen for the safeyty of your eyes.
I'm sure Google can lead you in the right direction.
I will try looking somewhere else. I might also ask the architect who will design my own house (in the future) on what is the best area for a home theater.
