I find choosing a speaker solely by listening to the demos in stores to be a laborious and often lacking process. I want speakers that can easily pick up on the intricate details of music, but doesn't get too overpowered by the bass. I find a lot of them have that issue. I'd like a crisper listening experience. Can anyone recommend anything?

Usually you can adjust the amount of base that comes through on the player itself. See if that helps. As for speaker recommendations, if you're looking for a wireless speaker I think the Amazon Echo fits the bill. It's affordable and the sound is fantastic.

You can always go to an audio store's website and ask them via email or if they have a LiveChat, and you will get in touch with a specialist and they will help you find exactly what you need!
