I love amplifiers for the simple fact that they enhance sound greatly. Understanding how they work determines whether or not peak performance will be reached. Can too much power routed to the speakers damage them?

I'm not sure if at all they can damage them but I think too much power compromises the sound quality. It is always a good idea for anyone to invest in a good set of amplifiers.
