Has anyone ever heard Big White Room by Jessie J? If you have, you know that the song is stripped back with only her vocals and an acoustic guitar. It lets you appreciate the lyrics and her vocals. I find that I like those type of songs the most. Am I the only one who feels this way?

While that wasn't really my cup of tea, I do have to say that recording a song in that fashion takes a lot of courage. It's one thing to sing in the shower where only you hear your vocal imperfections, but to record a stripped down song and then give it to the general public........that takes a certain amount of intestinal fortitude that most people just don't have.

It's not my kind of music Jessie, but my hat is off to you. You put it all out there.

In an era dominated by auto tune and all manner of 'weird' genres, I think it takes a lot of courage to have stripped back music. I love such songs because it brings out a musician's vocal strength. Add an acoustic guitar and that's my type of music.
