I think in our mind we all have our definition of when and what was the Golden Age of Music. So, it would be great to hear what everyone thinks the Golden Age of Music was.

The '70's and '80's. Of course my grandparents would say something like the '20's and '30's. It all depends on what you grew up on and what influenced you the most.

Most often, I hear the 1970s as the "golden era" of music. I honestly am not sure about that myself. I think each genre of music has had their golden era. While I think the 70s are the golden era of rock, I think the 20s are the golden era of jazz.
