So this may seem weird, but what do you do with your album cases? I know some people like to take the CDs out of the case and put them in a big CD holder/case with the rest of their CDs before trashing the original case.

Hi, I keep all mine. If you only have a few then you can keep track of them in one of the cases (I do use one in the car). But when you have hundreds...I have them on shelves like a library. Same for LPs and cassettes.

Good Listening

I keep mine with the original format music in them. The cases and their extras are part of the whole item. If I'm going to listen to it I'll rip an MP3 to save wear.

I keep all the cases, vinyl covers, etc. I think the original case is something collectors really like to keep, not just the music. How do you remember the memories without the covers? Maybe I'm just weird!

Yea, I understand if you have a case for the car and you keep the CDs in there. But I don't understand why some people then dispose of the album cases. I'm like you and believe they should go on a shelf like books.

As a musical purist, that is greatly upsetting.

The cover art that accompanies the disc that is in the case makes up the entire package that I paid for. I'm not throwing anything away.

I see you grew up in the era of the artist, Silver. Cool

Yeah, people discard the parts they don't listen to, but people have always done that.

They used to be called sloppy.
