While doing some internet research, I came across the Audio Technica W-500. Apart from having a great appearance, it costs close to $2000.

Indeed, the headphones look great. What matters more to me is the sound quality. They do not come at a low cost so my assumption is that they are of good quality.

You can also do some online reviews to sample what people think of them, in terms of functionality and durability.
