I just got this TT from ebay, and the silver-colored counterweight detached itself from the back of the tonearm, presumably during shipping.

Does anyone have experience with re-fitting the counterweight? I've inserted the copper tang between the two plastic insulators in the end of the shaft and re-assembled the thing but the weight dangles loosely as if that tang can't support the weight.

One other question regarding this assembly: There is a small foam rubber washer or grommet about 3/8" diameter tucked in *somewhere*. It appears to have some residual adhesive on one side and may serve some insulating purpose. Anyone know where this thing goes?
