Has anyone here ever heard of a fretless guitar? A friend of mine was looking into getting one to play, but I didn't know that they made anything like this. Do you think it's harder to play?

I have heard of them, and they sound like something for experienced players only. There's a sound that comes from the guitar as you're changing chords.....it comes form your fingers sliding over the fret. I'm sure this guitar does away with that sound.

This looks like a good thing to have. I just got a new acoustic guitar and a few problems with playing some chords. I agree that this is something any experienced guitar player. will love to have.
