I'm starting to prefer radio stations that are local. They may not have a lot of bandwidth to reach miles and miles, but they seem to have more leeway as to what music they play.

How about you? Part of a media conglomerate or home grown?

Home grown. Find a station like the one on the cover of the "Raised On Radio" album by Journey and you'll be in for a treat.

I prefer local music too. My favorite is when I get to go out in the western part of my state because K-Rock is one of my favorite radio stations. I used to be able to get it at my house, but not anymore.

I think we're all on the same wavelength here......local. Some of the better music is the type that the "big boys" won't touch. You just have to have an ear for it.
