Thanks for the plans. I have a question though. Where and how do you mount the 10" driver? Is there a cutout on the baffle or does it mount to a solid baffle where only the rear cone is vented through the horn and bottom ports? In the drawings there is plenty of detail on the exterior of the cabinet and the wood horn, but not the internals of the enclosure.

Thanks

The midhorn has a mounting plate.

Thanks, that clears things up. Does the wood horn parts come together at 90 degree angles or are they mitered together at angles? On the compression driver is the 8 or 16ohm version used and is there a preference on the thread or bolt on version? Sorry for all the questions, but the more I look into the build the more I questions I have.

One more for now, what is a typical frequency response of the 8pi? I know it is room dependent to a large degree, but without corner loading and placed near a front wall what should I expect?

The midhorn flat-pack kits have mitered edges so the seams are perfect. The driver used on this model is the Alpha 10.

As for the H290C waveguide, it mounts a two-hole compression driver, which must be 8Ω.

Response looks somewhat similar to the three π or four π models, but there is no upgrade path. Only the Alpha 10 driver is available.
