I can't give you a recap as I haven't seen the show. I'm curious about a "new" X-Files series, though. Does it feature the original cast or is this more of a spinoff?

It's the original cast all the way down to the Cigarette Smoking Man. I only saw the first two so far and there's only six. I believe it's on Mondays at 7pm PST.
