Why am I getting no sound on my headphones? They're plugged in to a front jack and I can see the sound metre moving, but no sound. Any ideas? I've tried everything.......I think.

Are you sure the headphones work?

Have you used them in something else recently?

Hi, Are you sure there is a headphone level signal at the jack? It might be an input jack for a mic. There might also depending on what you are using a setting or switch to enable the headphone jack.

A friend gave them to me because he upgraded. They worked just fine on his system. I'm still fiddling with it, so I'll look into the compatibility angle.
