Hi Wayne,
I finally got around to building up the 2pi tower kit you shipped me over a year ago. It's sounding pretty good! Even off of my cheesy 20W TA2020 amp and my shoddy woodworking skills.
However, during the build, I forgot to cut the 4.5" hole in the back of the speaker for the bass reflex port. I haven't bothered to try measuring the frequency response yet, but I'm curious what the overall effect is for not adding the bass reflex port. At some point I will unmounts the drivers and sand, prime, and paint the whole cabinet, and at that point I will probably take the time to do it right.

So it's just a large sealed box. Response isn't bad like that, but it's better when you vent it as designed.
