While browsing through the music channels on television, I happened to see the music video 'Breathe' by Midge Ure. The video was filmed in Ireland and, combined with the words of the song and Ure's voice, it took my breath away. The video can be found on YouTube. Music for the soul.

I have never heard of the song or the singer. I will have to look it up on YouTube. What genre does the artist fall into?

Let's chat!

Midge Ure falls in the Pop/Rock genre and some of his styles include New Wave, Punk/New Wave and Contemporary Pop/Rock, but this song (Breathe) is too unique to really be categorised under any of these styles.
